Meet Pamela! Pamela is one of Helpers with Heart's mascots.
Pamela, originally named Pony Girl, was adopted from Middletown Humane Society on July 30,2014. She was one of six Jack Russell Terrier mix girls rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia. She and her sister, Jessica Rabbit, were the only survivors of a parvovirus litter.
The two went into rescue together at Dana's Dog House in Smyrna, Georgia. At Dana's they socialized and played with other pups until they were ready to move on.
After a few weeks, Pony Girl (Pamela) hitched a ride on a transport to Middletown Humane. Shortly after, she met her forever parents who adopted her on National Mutt Day. And so, Pammy's adventure began with her FUR-ever family.
